Event description

Description

The National Student Drama Festival is an annual festival for young people who love theatre, making it, watching it and talking about it. This festival is an opportunity to show your work, learn, discuss, write and try something new. It is for anyone aged between 16 and 25, not just those in education.

As always, it was a week of inspiring discussions and meeting people who challenged and encouraged my way of thinking, both myself as someone who wants to work in the Arts sector, but also about theatre in general; its purpose and its future.

Fest Goer | NSDF 18 Survey

During the week, we present work by the most exciting young companies and artists in the UK, host a programme of workshops, discussions and events. There are opportunities to volunteer for the Technical and Management teams, and to write for Noises Off, the Festival magazine.

Passes for the full week, a half week and individual days are on sale now. Bursaries are availble to support those in financial need and more information about these will be announced shortly.

I left feeling empowered, enlightened and knowing more about how I want to make theatre and make things happen.

The networking, energy and quality of the shows, workshops and events were brilliant.
