About this event

Naturally dye yarn and fabric in heated dye baths and use mordants, including alum and iron, to add variations and help to keep the dye washfast and lightfast. The dyed yarn and fabric from our dye pots will then be used to produce a colourful sample swatch, for you to keep as a record and use for future reference. Also, choose a tote bag, scarf, fleece or piece of fabric which you will dye during the session, to take home.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and the number of participants is limited to 10.

An accompanied child free, for 7-18yrs, see ticket options to apply.

Refreshments will be provided, please bring your own lunch.
