Natural You: Body & Nature is a Movement Meditation Workshop designed to reconnected with our instincts, our natural selves and the environment through a series of playful, fun and energising exercises in direct contact with Nature.
Nature helps us to enter into the present moment finding a place where the chatterbox of ‘self-judgment’ stops and we feel a sense of perfection. It’s an intense feeling of peace and relief…
We feel alive as we use our body and our senses the way they were designed to be used: to perceive and appreciate the world that surrounds us!
Developed over many years of research and teaching by movement expert Natural You™ unique practice helps you find increasing peace of mind by guiding you to rediscover your natural connection to your body, your instincts and Nature. Chiara’s background in Physical Theatre, Core Training, Dance, Yoga and her long experience as Movement Coach led to the creation of this new system to help us to rediscover and redefine our relationship with our bodies, appreciate their beauty and explore their expressivity.
We’re not talking boot-camp or self-discipline: quite the opposite! It’s about (re)-discovering what innately and uniquely works for you and allowing your body and your senses to guide you. As a result you'll feel strong and energised, you will breathe better, you will have a better alignment and discover you can achieve much more than what you ever thought possible! The body knows... if we remember how to listen!
Chiara's workshops are co-facilitated by therapist, life coach, and Natural You™ co-founder, Michael Warwick. An experienced Life Coach and innovative EFT practitioner Michael combines mindfulness meditation with the very latest developments in energy psychology to help participants find increasing peace of mind and discover fresh insights.
Through a combination of movement and meditation exercises this dynamic practice offers:
An experience of 'being in your body' so that you can give it the attention and care it needs to be strong, toned and healthy.
A stimulation of your senses through a deep connection with Nature and a playful approach to physical work.
Powerful ways to heal the past and let go of your preconceptions about your strength, your physical abilities, movement skills and fitness;
A very effective tool you can use to change the way you feel about yourself, others and the environment.
Natural You™ is a unique Movement Meditation and Dance practice drawing on Yoga, physical theatre and personal development. It requires no previous experience and you don’t need to be a dancer to enjoy it!
It’s a fun, powerful and transformative approach exploring the connection between Body, Mind and Soul.
ABOUT THE FACILITATORS:
Chiara is a Movement Coach, a Theatre Director and a stage and film Actress best known for her starring role in The Duke Of Burgundy. Chiara (MSc, MA) developed Natural You™ over many years of research and training with practitioners from all over the world in the diverse fields of theatre, Yoga and dance. Chiara's work with Natural You™ satisfies her deep desire to help people experience their natural, fun and loving selves in supportive and inclusive environments. As well as her acting career, she is currently studying for her PhD in Performing Arts and regularly lectures at many of the UK top universities.
An experienced group facilitator and innovative EFT practitioner Michael leads us deeply into our inner journey of self discovery. With great compassion and humour he creates a warm environment where we gently and effectively release the blocks to our natural state of connection. Founder of the Exam Magic educational consultancy Michael has coached more than 3,000 individuals. He and Chiara are life partners and share their London home with Santy their German Shepherd.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The meeting point is: Kenwood House in Hampstead Heath Park. Hampstead Ln, Hampstead NW3 7JR - just outside the house facing the park. Map: KENWOOD HOUSE, HAMPSTEAD HEATH PARK.

What to bring to the event & dress code?
It's important to wear something suitable for outdoor activities: comfortable shoes to be able to walk and run in the woods, waterproof clothing in case of rain and some layers to keep warm for cold weather (jumpers, gloves).
We also reccommend to bring a blanket and some water.
