About this event

  • Event lasts 5 hours

Saturday 20 September, 10am - 3pm

Come along to our purpose-built learning centre for Nature Adventurers, a series of Saturday activity sessions for 8–12-year-old adventurers and nature lovers.

  • Each week they will explore a different theme of the outdoors both in the self-contained grounds of the Hyde Park Learning Centre and in the wider parks (Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens).
  • Taking inspiration from the amazing world of nature around us, they'll learn about what makes these parks tick through unique hands-on experiences.
  • Simply drop your young adventurer off with lunch and a drink at the Hyde Park Learning Centre for a day of fun activities guided by our expert facilitators.

20 September: Woodland Craft and Creatures. Activities will include den making, tree identification, willow weaving and fire lighting.

Each session is £40, but we encourage you to book multiple sessions, as the weeks follow a format that complements and builds on each other!

Please note that the above activities are subject to change at the facilitator's discretion, depending on the weather and other factors that may be beyond our control.

We have a limited number of bursary places available for those in need. If you are interested in a bursary space and can commit to both the above dates, please call 0300 304 9910 or email publicprogrammes@royalparks.org.uk.

The Royal Parks charity provides 5,000 acres of urban green respite in the centre of our bustling capital city. If you value your Royal Parks, please consider making a gift. It will make all the difference to their future.
