You don't need to be experienced to enjoy painting, using the benefits of creativity from nature in a relaxing and supportive environment.

Experience the creative heart of Brighton by joining us at Liberation Art Gallery, nestled in the historic and beautifully winding Lanes. Surrounded by centuries-old architecture and vibrant local culture, this workshop invites you to slow down, explore, and truly take in the charm of the area. Inside the gallery, you’ll be immersed in inspiring artworks, a welcoming atmosphere, and the joy of creating amongst fellow art lovers. It’s not just a workshop—it's a moment of connection, creativity, and appreciation for Brighton’s artistic soul.

This workshop is ideal for beginners that haven't been creative for a while but want something different to do in Brighton. We make it a fun and friendly experience, focusing on your joyful experience, it's not too technical!

Ruth will take you through building your confidence, getting inspired and learning the skills of drawing and painting over a one and a half hour workshop, painting fresh flowers in a beautiful gallery setting.

Ruth is an experienced workshop host and artist who creates colourful and uplifting botanical art.

Join her to learn key drawing and observation techniques, and come away with your own beautiful and authentic floral drawing finished with colourful inks.
