What ages are activities aimed at?

The majority of activities are aimed at ages 4 - 12 years. Younger / older children may also enjoy these activities with the support of their accompanying adult. If you'd like to discuss how your child may get on at these events, please email outdoorlearning@tewkesburynaturereserve.org.uk

What will we need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Please come prepared to spend the whole time outdoors on the reserve and wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather. You may need a waterproof and wellies, or a sun hat and sun cream. As a minimum, trainers are the recommended footwear. We recommend bringing water with you.

Are there toilets on the reserve?

There will not be any toilet facilities available during this event.

Where can I park?

Accepted Answer

There is a free car park at the nature reserve. If this is full, there is ample parking on the nearby Wheatpieces estate from where you can access the reserve on foot.

Question 6

What should I do if I am late?

Accepted Answer

If you are late, we may have moved away from the car park. You may be able to contact us on 07983 705354 although we will be delivering the activity and may not be able to pick up. Please do explore the reserve and you might find us. We will call you back as soon as possible.

Question 7

Do the adults need to stay?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All children must be accompanied by an adult, who needs to stay for the duration of the activity and support their child/children.
