About this event
Join the Sherbourne Valley Project team at Coventry University for a reflective interfaith dialogue session.
What is an interfaith dialogue? It is an opportunity for people of different faiths to come together for a positive discussion about their core personal beliefs. You can find more information in this video: What is Interreligious Dialogue?
At the Sherbourne Valley Project we are always trying to learn more about what connects people of all walks of life to nature and our rivers. In this session we will be asking:
- What does your faith say about nature/rivers?
- How do you connect to your faith through the natural world or vice versa?
- How does your faith inspire you to help nature?
- Does your religion give you hope? How can we have more hope for nature/rivers
We will begin with a walk along the river Sherbourne to reflect on nature, we will then make a pit stop for hot drinks and some information about the rivers history before heading into Charterhouse to discuss our questions.
Why should you come to this event?
- To get outside
- To meet likeminded people
- To share your beliefs and learn from others
- To learn more about the river Sherbourne
- Free refreshments!
