Nature Journaling in Wardens' Wood

By Cleeve Common Trust

Overview

Join local illustrator Amanda Steer on a wander through Wardens' Wood as we slow down, and draw what we see, not what we think we see.

Journalling what we see, not what we think we see, enables us to gain a deeper connection to our surroundings, promoting curiosity and well-being.

In the two hours, we will be walking in Wardens' Wood with stops to draw what we see, smell, hear… Our aim is not to create a masterpiece but to enhance our connection to nature through the medium of drawing.

Suitable for ages 10 years to adult, a lovely activity for you to do alongside your child and suitable for all abilities.

Basic drawing materials are provided - a sketching 'zine and a drawing pen which you can take home after to hopefully continue your journalling journey. Specifically run just before International Nature Journalling Week so you are ready to join this global event in June!

You will be guided by local illustrator/printmaker Amanda Steer.
