The start point is Warley Woods Car Park, 101 Lightwoods Hill, Smethwick B67 5ED. Meet under the trees to the left of the pedestrian gate to the park. Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the event i.e. 10.15 am. This will allow time for check-in and access to on site facilities.

Are there refreshment and toilet facilities?

The Pavilion is within the Warley Woods Car Park. The building has toilet facilities, a shop which includes refreshments and an independently run cafe.

Where should I park if the car park is full?

Warley Woods car park is next to the golf course, it can become quite full. Please allow time for the possibility of alternative parking and the walk to the start point

Can I bring children?

This event has an age restriction of 16+ years. However we do run Family Nature Mindfulness events too - please check Eventbrite for advertised events.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry No. Nature Mindfulness events are not a suitable activity for the presence of dogs. Please contact Wonder in Nature to discuss options if you depend on an assistance dog.

What clothing should I wear?

We will be walking up small hills and on uneven, occasionally muddy ground. Please wear sturdy footwear. No open toe shoes. Please bring layers to keep you warm in the shade and a rain proof jacket if rain is predicted.

Do I need to bring any equipment?

No. There will be opportunities to take some photographs. But as the activities will be mindful in the present moment we may suggest these are taken between group activities.

Shall I bring a picnic?

A picnic would be a lovely idea for after the Nature Mindfulness session. The Nature Mindfulness Walk will end in the Warley Woods meadow area, which is open grassland surrounded by trees and offering plenty of benches.

Walks are typically around 1 mile. Walking is done very slowly and mindfully so no real exertion involved, even if going up hill!

Is this event suitable for people with limited mobility?
