About this event

Hobbies • Drawing & Painting

Welcome to Nature Poetry Walk and Botanical Painting event! Join me on a walk through the Jackson Park, all the way to the wildflower trails of the beautiful Bobolink Meadows and back to the Japanese Garden, a.k.a the Garden of the Phoenix, where we will gather for some poetry and painting (mostly of botanical samples gathered before or on our walks: a leaf, a twig, a flower, or fallen berry). Find new friends as you immerse yourself in the serene surroundings and explore nature through poetry and art. Take a leisurely stroll through the garden, drawing inspiration from the flora and fauna around you. Then, unleash your creativity with a botanical painting session (not guided, I'm also a learner and enthusiast). Let your imagination run wild as you capture the beauty of the garden on canvas. This event is the perfect opportunity to connect with nature and express yourself through art. Don't miss out on this unique experience!
