This summer holiday, Brandon Marsh will be hosting a free Nature Writing workshop for young people aged 11 - 18 years old.
After a walk around part of Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve for inspiration, we will read and talk about some nature poetry, look at how writing can be used as a form of activism, have a go at some writing exercises and share tips on how to communicate nature and wildlife through our writing.
No previous experience needed, only enthusiasm!
*This session is aimed at young people aged 11 - 18. Adults are not required to accompany their young people but will be asked to complete a parental consent form on arrival. The session will be lead by young poet Emily Hunt and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust staff with enhanced DBS check.
Please be aware we plan to walk in all weathers, so please dress appropriately.
