About this event

Business • Startups

Join the London NatWest Accelerator team for an informal networking event dedicated to empowering female founders. This is a unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and share experiences with like-minded women who are making strides in the entrepreneurial world.

Speaker:

The Unforgettable Founder: communication, confidence and strategic visibility - but please play with this as it works for your group! The goal, as you know, is for founders to confidently talk about themselves or rather professionally showcase their value, and never freeze during crucial conversations, with the aim to soothe public speaking panic and more.

For the initial 45 mins, I will speak to the room about my experience training reluctant CEOs, shy politicians and gutsy independent business owners, who all have the same thread running through them: without excellent communication out towards their target audience (whether a room full of people, or customers), they are all worthless. Why be quietly brilliant?

But how do they do it if they are crippled by imposter syndrome or wear all the business hats brilliantly bar the one they really need?

Then, for the 1 hour interaction, I will use Lego in a LEGO® Serious Play® workshop to unlock new ways to position oneself, and start conversations that grow reputation. This will be, naturally, hands-on, and it'll encourage founders to rethink how they describe themselves, their goals, and challenge them to realise that how they are perceived by others is critical (and neglected). Used globally by governments for conflict resolution and strategy, LEGO Serious Play is incredibly powerful! I love running them! For this session, we’ll focus on transforming communication and getting people to talk about themselves and what they do better, with more impact. Perhaps even invite participants to challenge each other’s builds to deepen insight

What to Expect:

  • Networking: Meet fellow female entrepreneurs and build meaningful connections. Share your journey and learn from the experiences of others.
  • Inspiration: Engage in uplifting conversations that foster support and motivation among women who are leading their own businesses.
  • Refreshments: Tea and coffee will be provided.

This event is designed for female founders at any stage of their entrepreneurial journey, from budding startups to established business owners.
