Guest Speakers – Jeanne Kelly, Business Development Assist and Liz Crook, Personalising Freedom CIC and Rummage Rescuers

Guest Speaker – Jeanne Kelly, Business Development Assist

Jeanne Kelly has over 35 years’ experience in business working as a retail buyer with High Street retailers in the 1980s, head of marketing for manufacturing companies in the 1990s and running her own consultancy business since 1999.

Passionate about understanding people and seeing the bigger picture, Jeanne’s work with clients now includes development of successful business strategies, sales and profit planning, helping Companies access finance & grants and getting the best out of your staff, to help your business grow. She is currently approved to work on Greater Manchester and Lancashire Growth Hub funded programmes. Jeanne also volunteers as a life coach with women in Styal prison and is Trustee of a Bolton recycling charity.

In this session, Jeanne will lead us in a fun and light-hearted look at our personal profiles so we can understand more about ourselves, our drivers, motivators and constraints. She will help us to gain an understanding of others and how we relate to them. And we will look at why we have difficulties with some people and how to manage them better. If you want to find out if you’re a Lion, an Otter, a Beaver or even a Golden Retriever then come along and find out.

Liz Crook, Personalising Freedom CIC, known locally as Rummage Rescuers

An invaluable furniture, clothing, household items/reuse and poverty alleviation service, Personalising Freedom is a non profit registered organization, established in 2015 by Liz, providing a furniture re-use and poverty alleviation service, which provides practical support for local people in need. We also provide free items to those in need of our services. This is a one stop shop where people can go to get the help they need and has been developed by the community, for the community. Liz is highly experienced in the Social Care Sector, a truly inspirational lady who works tirelessly supporting people in the local community.
