The conference is open to all members of staff and volunteers from NAVCA member organisations.

The NAVCA Annual Conference and AGM is designed to be a thinking space - a space for our members to network, hear from keynote speakers and attend workshop sessions. This year's theme is 'Tackling poverty locally'.

With the cost of living crisis impacting increasing numbers of people in the communities that our members work with, our conference aims to create a space where we can learn about this issue from different perspectives. From the ways in which poverty affects health, to the disproportionate impact of poverty on marginalised communities, we will explore different issues through facilitated workshop sessions and keynote speeches.

We want as many members to attend our conference as possible, which is why we are offering a discounted rate after you purchase your first ticket. Standard tickets are £75, £50 for subsequent tickets, and £25 for tickets bought for volunteers within your organisation. Lunch and refreshments are included in your ticket price.

Once you have purchased one ticket, you will receive instructions on how to apply a discount to further tickets. Please read the ticket information and instructions in full below before purchasing.

Full programme will be sent to attendees ahead of the conference, with the opportunity to sign up for themed workshops in advance of the conference. Doors open at 9am for registration, refreshments and networking, and the conference will start at 10am.

Keynote speaker: Greg Fell, Director of Public Health in Sheffield.
Workshop: Making the most of an ethnically diverse Britain, hosted by Stella Ngozi Mbubaegbu CBE.
Workshop: Trans inclusion is for everyone, hosted by Christopher Owen from Manchester Pride.
Workshop: Keeping your organisation safe, a cyber security workshop hosted by the National Cyber Security Centre.
Workshop: Poverty Truth Commissions, hosted by the team at York CVS.
Workshop: Food Insecurity and Cultural Awareness, hosted by Atiha Chaudry from the Rafiki Network and Graham Whitam from Greater Manchester Poverty Action.
Workshop: Resilience, hosted by Bruce Mann from the National Preparedness Commission.
Workshop: Presenting the findings of our research project, hosted by Dr Rob Macmillan from Sheffield Hallam University.

CEOs' Dinner:

We are hosting a networking dinner for NAVCA member CEOs on 16th November, 7:30-9:30pm at Piccolino's, a classic Italian restaurant in central Manchester. Please book your ticket using the CEO Dinner ticket option - this is the only way to guarantee a place.

Ticket information and instructions:

Member tickets are £75.

We are offering discounts on tickets when you purchase one ticket for another staff member in your organisation.

When you book one ticket by paying for it in full, you will receive an email with instructions on applying promo codes to subsequent tickets, which you will need to book in a separate transaction.

First tickets are £75, then £50 thereafter for staff or £25 for volunteers. These prices will become visible at checkout when you use the discount codes you will receive via email after booking your first ticket.

To apply discounts, click the ‘Enter promo code’ link, which is visible above the ticket options on the order form, and enter the code you have received after booking your first early bird or standard ticket.

Please do not share the discount codes with anyone who is not from your organisation. Thank you!
