Navigating Different Parenting Styles in the Family
Overview
Navigating Different Parenting Styles in the Family
Parenting doesn't happen in isolation—and when family members, friends, or co-parents have different approaches, it can feel frustrating, undermining, or even overwhelming.
Join us for this online workshop where we'll explore how to navigate these differences with clarity and confidence. We'll look at why setting boundaries with those who parent differently is so important, and how to have respectful yet impactful conversations with relatives who may be undermining your approach.
We'll also explore how to build the right support network around you—knowing who to turn to and how to ask for what you need. And we'll dive into emotional regulation: what it actually means, why it matters when tensions run high, and how you can practice it in those challenging moments.
Whether you're dealing with grandparents who "know best," a co-parent with conflicting rules, or friends who question your choices, this workshop will help you hold your ground while maintaining important relationships.
