Navigating Hollywood’s Creative Machine: A Q&A with Etan Marciano
Overview
How do blockbusters grow from singular ideas into expansive story-universes? Join us for an illuminating conversation with Etan Marciano, Hollywood Scriptwriter (GIRLFRIENDS' GUIDE TO DIVORCE, DIETLAND, CITADEL, SWARM) and former Manager of Mythology Development for AGBO, the Russo Brothers' production company. He's currently in development on a feature film with Annapurna Pictures.
Etan will unpack how myth-making, continuity, world-building and cross-platform strategy fuel today’s entertainment ecosystems, from comic-book origins to global streaming universes. Gain insight into the often-hidden machinery of Hollywood’s creative engine: how scripts evolve, how story worlds are mapped and maintained, how a single character or narrative strand can ripple across media and markets, and how storytelling powers Hollywood’s creative machine.
