Who are we?

The Liverpool Society of Anaesthetists is the regional society for anaesthetists in Merseyside and North Wales. It currently has over 150 members and is open to all anaesthetists.

Aims

We aim to provide a meeting place which is friendly and informal. The society meets four times a year. In addition, there is a further meeting with the Liverpool Medical Institution and a joint afternoon meeting with the Section of Anaesthesia of the Manchester Medical Society.

As well as lectures from regional and national speakers, the social  side of the society is equally important. There are few other opportunities to chat with friends and colleagues from other hospitals over dinner and a drink which is free to all members at every function.
