Meet the Experts
Sarah Brown dipNT, mBANT, mANP, CHNC , Women's Health and Female Hormones Specialist
Sarah Brown is a registered Nutritional Therapist with BANT and a Women's Health and Female Hormones Specialist. She has supported hundreds of women in navigating hormonal health through simple, evidence-based approaches. She takes a whole-person approach, addressing all pillars of health—nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, and more. In this workshop, Sarah will guide participants through the physiological changes that occur during peri-menopause and menopause, starting with the neurological shifts that happen first in perimenopause.
She will cover essential foundations including blood sugar balance, gut health, protein intake, sleep quality, stress regulation, mitochondrial health, and more. Sarah will explain how inflammation plays a key role in this transition, why women are more susceptible to conditions like an underactive thyroid and autoimmunity, and provide actionable strategies to support the body through these changes. Her approach is simple, sustainable, and designed to fit seamlessly into modern, busy lives.
Sarah Slade BSc, POGP, CSP – Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Sarah Slade is an experienced Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. She provides timely, supportive, and evidence-based assessment and treatment for women of all ages, helping them manage pelvic health issues that impact both physical and mental well-being. Sarah takes a whole-person approach to treatment and believes every woman deserves to live an active life without pelvic floor symptoms holding them back.
Beyond symptom management and exercise in midlife, Sarah’s focus is on empowering women to form a powerful connection with their bodies during perimenopause and menopause. She advocates for incorporating strength training into daily life, regardless of experience or ability, to support pelvic health and overall well-being during these transitions.
