Navigating Networking Workshop
Overview
Our friends at UEA Change Makers have kindly offered places on this brilliant workshop to FUSE Network members! Your details will be passed on to Finbarr Carter at UEA to send additional information about the event.
Networking isn’t easy for anyone, and it can be daunting to present yourself to new people.
Lucy Marks, Managing Director of Norfolk Network, will be sharing her experiences of networking and supporting local business professionals to connect in authentic and meaningful ways.
She’ll share her strategies for engaging with confidence and authenticity in networking environments, and how to harness your unique strengths to build meaningful connections.
Lucy will take you through the three stages of networking - how to prepare, how to navigate a networking room with confidence, and how to reflect on your experience and follow up on new opportunities.
One of the best ways to build your confidence is by hearing the experiences of others and sharing your own challenges and insights. There will be plenty of time for this during the session, followed by an opportunity to practise your new skills with your peers at the end.
Lucy Marks runs the Norfolk Network, a local business network that brings professionals together to share knowledge, explore opportunities, and build trusted relationships. Lucy is a natural connector of people and has created a networking environment that is inclusive and comfortable for all.
