Hear about the trends and insights gleaned by our Cambridge University Judge Business School MBA researcher, Akshat Mathur from his recent qodeo research project that spanned leading venture and private equity firms in the UK.

- Nat Langley, Head of EY Fast Growth Platform Tax

Natalie specialises in supporting private and Venture Capital backed businesses in the tech sector, helping them to grow from start up to exit. Her experience covers a broad range of tax and business issues and day to day she assists with investor tax reliefs, employment tax incentives and compliance, reorganisations, transactions, raising funds, international expansion and preparing for exit. IShe has previously worked in San Francisco assisting UK and US companies with cross border tax and fundraising issues and helping US companies expand to the UK and vice versa.


- Simon Glass, Founder & CEO Qodeo

Simon co-founded qodeo to solve problems encountered raising and deploying funds when working as a banker, at venture firms and as an entrepreneur; including at EY and Amadeus Capital Partners. Simon led origination at a major bank, generating £265m new to bank business, ran an arts production company, where the Times Newspaper called Simon ‘an established producer' at just 27 in its Great British Hopes section. Simon has done business in 40-plus countries, taught business, including at London Metropolitan University, written for the FT, and served as Deputy Chair of a University publishing house. Simon holds BA, MA and MBA degrees from Cambridge University and trained in Corporate Finance at London Business School.


- Miles Kirby, Director Oxford Capital

Miles works in the Growth investments team at Oxford Capital, leading investments in the technology space and has made investments in import.io, UltraSoC and HomeTree. Miles has over 15 years of venture and growth experience and a background forming and running new ventures. Prior to Oxford Capital Miles helped a number of companies with their corporate innovation strategy including ARM.


- Kirsty Grant, Investment Director Seedrs

Kirsty in a qualified lawyer who joined Seedrs from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. As a corporate lawyer Kirsty focused on mergers and acquisitions, with experience in London, Singapore and Australia. As an Investment Director, Kirsty now manages the investment process from campaign to review, through to deal execution and post-investment management.
