Are you a parent of a child with profound disabilities and/or medical complexities? Are you wondering what help is out there for your family? Navigation and Nurture events are monthly gatherings for parents like you to come together and receive practical and emotional support.
Come along, meet other parents in the same boat, and ask questions about areas such as:
- Staying well on this exceptionally challenging parent path
- Benefits
- House adaptations
- Support at home
- Tube feeding
- Nursery, schools and EHCPs
- Where you can take you child?
- Anything else!
Each month there will be a small panel of professionals from various backgrounds to answer your questions or signpost you in the right direction. We will also spent time sharing, connecting and building emotional resiliance.
For a small donation you are welcome to bring your child along if this helps you to attend. Suggested amount is £5 but please pay whatever you can afford. Experienced playworkers will be available in the same room to entertain your pre-schoolers.
Free transport is also available.
