NCBI: Identity, Difference & Equity Workshop (in-person workshop)

Who do you think you are?

We all have a multitude of different identities, relating to race, family, gender, job etc. Did you know the identities we hold don't just describe us, they also affect others? Our personal experiences, cultural beliefs and identities create different lenses through which we see our world. This can unwittingly cause bias, discrimination and unfair treatment.

At NCBI Training we believe in changing hearts to change the world. We know the power of holding a safe space; and leading with a positive spirit of hope and compassion. In over 20 years, we’ve not once met someone who doesn’t have a powerful story to share. Through these stories we can dissolve guilt, liberate ourselves, address prejudice, and learn who we really are.

As part of this transformational experience all participants will receive:

1. A powerful 1 day training experience through a variety of engaging activities and group tasks

2. A tool kit of powerful techniques to help address discrimination, unjust behaviour, prejudice & becoming an ally for other groups

3. A confidential, safe space with other warm and welcoming first time attendees

4. Guidance with our highly supportive, friendly and experienced facilitators who have decades of experience in transformational life, career and executive coaching.
