NCC - Food Workshop for parents/carers of children with ASD
This course if for parents and carers of children aged 5 - 19 years, living in Northamptonshire and with a confirmed diagnosis of Autism.
This is a 2 week course held each Tuesday from 09:45 - 11:45 hours on the following dates:-
09 May 2017
16 May 2017
The venue is in on the ground floor and is fully accessible.
Parking is available on the roadside.
We are offering two adult places per child, if both parents/carers are not able to attend then one parent can bring another adult along (this could be a relative or a friend). However we do ask that the same people attend all of the sessions, if possible.
We are offering a place on all 2 sessions and we ask for your attendance at all sessions.
There are no facilities for children and the course content is not suitable for children or young people.
The Food Workshop will be held over 2 weekly sessions. The workshop aims to help parent/carers understand more about difficulties surrounding food and ASD, to explore strategies and visual resources to support overcoming food and eating difficulties, and to create bespoke resources to support positive change.
Please note that if there are insufficient numbers to make this course viable, the event may be cancelled, and you will be informed in advance of the start date.
