NCC - Toileting Workshop for parents/carers of children with ASD
This course if for parents and carers of children aged 5 - 19 years, living in Northamptonshire and with a confirmed diagnosis of Autism.
This is a 3 week course held each Mondy from 09:45 - 11:45 hours on the following dates:-

19 June 2017
26 June 2017
The venue is on the ground floor and is fully accessible.
Parking is free (attendees will need to give their car registration number to Customer Services on arrival).
We are offering two adult places per child, if both parents/carers are not able to attend then one parent can bring another adult along (this could be a relative or a friend). However we do ask that the same people attend all of the sessions, if possible.
We are offering a place on all 3 sessions and we ask for your attendance at all sessions.
There are no facilities for children and the course content is not suitable for children or young people.
The Toileting Workshop will be held over three weekly sessions, The workshop is designed for parents/carers and cover the sequencing of toileting, strategies to try and bridge the child's gaps or sticking points (including sensory) and show ways to attempt to move the sequence on from the child's own starting point. We cover the sequence from start to finish, we break it down into each step and discuss the barriers that might be enountered relating to that step and ways to try and overcome them.
Please note that if there are insufficient numbers to make this course viable, the event may be cancelled, and you will be informed in advance of the start date.
