Whether you’re setting out on a new career path or aiming higher in your current role this course will help prepare you for what's ahead!

About this Event


Due to the current global outbreak of Coronavirus we would like to update you on some innovative changes and measures that we are putting in place to make sure our customers are able to continue accessing training.  

During this period we will deliver all of our courses via a virtual classroom. For each course interactive weekly sessions will be held with a course trainer via Zoom and participants will have access to all learning resources online.  We will also enable you to arrange 1-2-1 sessions with your course trainer if additional assistance is required.

COURSE START DATE: Thursday 29 Oct (10:00 - 12:00)

COURSE DURATION: 4 Weeks (a two hour session every week for 4 Weeks via Zoom )

  • Session 1: Thurs 29 Oct
  • Session 2: Thurs 5 Nov
  • Session 3: Thurs 12 Nov
  • Session 4: Thurs 19 Nov

Course Overview

The Bank of England predicts unemployment will almost double to 2.5m be the end of a year! Demand for jobs will increase across all industries and candidates will need to stand out from the crowd!

Our Employability Skills course aims to increase your work-based and employability skills, enabling you to take initial steps into the work place, feel more confident about entering the workplace after a career break or make a successful career change!

Education and expertise can make you eligible to apply for a job but to be successful and thrive, you will need essential skills that you can develop over the course of time.

Course Fee and Eligibility 

The course is government funded and you are required to meet the following criteria

  • Be over 19 years old
  • Have proof of residency in the UK for at least three years.
  • Be unemployed or on a career break
  • Be in receipt of a benefit such as Job Seekers Allowance/Universal Credit OR
  • Be employed/self-employed and earning up to £16k per year
  • Must have a full level 2 qualification

If you don't meet the eligibility criteria, you have the option to pay a discounted rate of just £250 for the course.

Please note: during this period whilst we deliver training via a virtual classroom, learners will require access to a WIFI connection and a laptop, tablet or mobile device.
