About this event

Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service in Health and Social Care Settings

This course runs for 4 weeks with one, two and a half hour online session each week, you will also need to dedicate between 2-3 hours of self study per week.

Start date: Thursday 3 June

  • Session 1 - Thurs 3 June
  • Session 2 - Thurs 10 June
  • Session 3 - Thurs 17 June
  • Session 4 - Thurs 24 June

Session Time: 10:30am - 1:00pm

About this course

Our qualification enhances Customer Service in Healthcare, which will support you when you are dealing with residents, families, patients and internal and external customers within the Health and Social Care environment.

The course is designed to help you develop these positive working relationships. You will learn about customer expectations and how to adapt environments and your communication styles for customers with specific needs. You'll also gain a better understanding of what makes effective teams work.

  • How to identify the types of customers who interact with health and social care services
  • Different communication methods used in health and social care settings
  • How to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for diverse needs

When does the course run?

We have various start dates throughout the year. Most courses start each month, so there's always an opportunity ready for you.

Course Fee and Eligibility

The course is government funded and you will be required to meet the following criteria to qualify for funding,

  • Be over 19 years of age
  • Have proof of residency in the UK for at least three years and live in the Greater London area.
  • Be unemployed or on a career break or
  • Be in receipt of a benefit such as Job Seekers Allowance or Universal Credit or
  • Be employed/self-employed or
  • On furlough or unemployed but NOT on any benefits

You will also be asked to provide evidence of your highest qualification.

Please note: you will be required to provide proof of eligibility before we are able to confirm your booking. If you don't meet the eligibility criteria, you have the option to pay a discounted rate of just £250 for the course.

Please note: during this period whilst we deliver training via a virtual classroom, learners will require access to a WIFI connection and a laptop, tablet or mobile device.
