Real Talk for Services Supporting Minoritised Communities (LGBTQIA+ and Racialised Communities)Suicide disproportionately impacts minoritised communities facing unique societal pressures. This Real Talk session specifically addresses these complexities, enhancing your skills to sensitively identify risk, explore cultural and systemic barriers to seeking help, facilitate affirming conversations and implement practical safety strategies including suicide safety planning using the Stay Alive app/resources in a culturally appropriate way. You will also strengthen your resilience when working with distressed members of LGBTQIA+ and racialised communities.
