Description

Interested in working with young people? Interested in working with charities and third sector organisations? Interested in making a difference to your community? The Challenge is a fast-growing social enterprise that connects and inspires people across Britain to strengthen their communities.

NCS (National Citizen Service) is a programme that brings together young people aged between 15 and 17 years old from different backgrounds, builds their confidence, and challenges them to make a difference in their local community. In summer 2016, we worked with over 35,000 young people and around 4,500 seasonal staff across the UK. For summer 2017, we will be looking to recruit up to 5,000 staff members to work with us. We have many different roles available for those with varying levels of experience and the placements take place outside of term-time. The success of NCS depends on the seasonal staff that work with our young people to motivate and lead them to strengthen their communities. So if you are looking to gain valuable work experience, have got a passion for our cause and the right amount of energy and enthusiasm to work with young people then make sure you get involved to find out more!
