An overview of the molecular and genomic data collected and analysed across NDRS, including congenital anomalies, rare disease and cancer.

About this Event

This autumn the National Disease Registration Service (NDRS) is running a series of webinars to continue to share information about our latest work and developments. Each lunchtime webinar will focus on a different area of NDRS and there will be an opportunity to ask questions following the presentation.

The ability to link genomic data to the other datasets available within NDRS represents a unique and powerful resource to evaluate how genotype contributes to patient phenotype, treatment and outcomes on an unprecedented scale.

This molecular and genomics webinar will explore:

  • Molecular and genomic datasets within NDRS, including our somatic, germline and cytogenetics datasets.
  • How molecular and genomic data is used to support disease registration and analysis.
  • Examples of current projects and partnerships with external colleagues and collaborators.
  • Future plans and developments.

Attendees will be sent joining instructions for the webinar 2 days beforehand. The webinar will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and will be accessible across desktop, browser and mobile (iOS or Android). Slides from presentations will be shared with attendees after the event.

If you have any questions about this webinar or registering to attend, please contact NDRSengagement@phe.gov.uk.
