Purpose: To explore with Social Care Providers in the area about what they need to be able to confidently and competently support people with a learning disability and autistic people discharged from hospital via CJS or with an escalating risk in the community.
Attendees: Social Care Providers and Commissioners, community team provider representation
Outcomes:
•Providers have an understanding of the needs of people who have had contact with CJS or have an escalating risk of contact with CJS and who need support in BLMK to inform development of their organisation and staff•Providers have a clear ask of BLMK ICB and Councils in order to improve the quality and availability of support for people•Commissioners and Community Team Professionals understand what some of the barriers are for securing good quality support for people in BLMK•Intelligence from the day is available to inform commissioning intentions and deliver ‘quick wins’ to develop the market e.g. training, information, networks
