Seeking specialised support and advice to kickstart your community energy project in the North East?
Welcome to the North East & Yorkshire Community Energy Technical Assistance Workshops, an exciting programme designed to upskill community energy groups and similar stakeholders in key areas such as energy project development and management, low carbon technologies, and the grid connections process.
Workshop 4 covers Governance and Procurement for Community Energy. We will look at:
· What are the most common governance models in the community energy sector?
· What are the pros and cons of each model, and which is the most suitable for you?
· How can you best leverage different procurement processes to build your community energy project?
· What are the common risks facing communities within the procurement process?
The programme is funded by the North East & Yorkshire Net Zero Hub, produced and delivered by community energy consultancy, Scene. It is tailored to provide expert support and advice to interested communities and potential to the Great British Energy Community Fund.
