Event description

Description

An engaging summer NED networking evening to meet with your NED peers, board level professionals, headhunters and board experts.

Networking is important in developing your NED career - we hope you can join us for a professional and enjoyable evening.

We're delighted to be joined for the evening by guest speaker Heather White, known as a Networking & Personal Brand Expert and Boardroom Match-Maker.

More About Heather White

The hard truth about networking is that if your contacts don’t ‘get’ you they can’t help you. Networking is about building a strong network of contacts who understand you and are willing to recommend you when the moment arises. It is also about caring for those in your network and being of service if you are able. For the last 15 years, using a very down to earth and practical approach, she has helped people to communicate their roles, strengths and value more confidently and to engage more both internally and externally. Heather can help you to build an authentic brand, to develop long-term business relationships and to become far more confident.

As a professional networker Heather loves connecting people and has created a unique service called, Boardroom Ready. Using our networking expertise and our connections, Boardroom Ready matches senior executives from FTSE500 and other top ranking organisations with the boards of AIM listed, privately owned and SMEs companies. By matching each individual’s needs to a development role on a commercially board, we are making a contribution to the next generation of leaders. Over the years Heather has delivered services to numerous high profile organisations such as: American Express, BAE Systems, Cambridge University Judge Business School, CGI, Christies, Commerzbank, Coventry University, EAIE, Hult International Business School, Imperial College London, Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, IOSH, KPMG, London Business School, London Chamber of Commerce, Metlife, Nationwide Building Society, PGIM, Royal Bank of Scotland, Siemens, The Law Society, The PA Club, UBM (UK) Ltd, University of Edinburgh, University of St. Gallen and WHU Business School.
