Join Rachel creator at Hobbz Designs as she takes you through the process of making a needle felted brooch with embroidered flowers.

Based in a beautiful allotments in Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield, this 3 hour workshop will teach you everything you need to know about creating your own brooch which can be oval or square. You will be able to choose the colours you want to work with and placement as we go through the process step-by-step.

Reference material will be provided as we won't be following a guide. Please bring your own if there is a place or photo that is special to you and you can walk away with your very own creation.

This is a lovely way to connect with friendly, like-minded creatives as well as trying your hand at something new. No experience required.

You will learn:

- how to create a needle felted brooch background using merino wool and other fibres

- how to embroider flowers

- how to add other embellishments

What is included:

- Materials and equipment

- Light refreshments. If you have any dietary requirements, please contact us in advance so we can cater for you.

- Full instructions will be available for attendees to take home with you.

Where do I park?

There is plenty of free car parking at the allotments.

Do you offer refunds?

Unfortunately I am unable to offer refunds however you can get a space on another equivalent workshop as long as you give more than 7 days notice to cancel. Please email the organiser directly to organise this. You will have a year from the date of cancellation to use your make-up space.

How do I cancel?

Please contact the organiser as soon as possible once you wish to cancel. You will be able to use to make up your place on another equivelant workshop. You have one year from the date of cancellation to use this credit.

Can I get there by train?

Wylde Green Train Station serves the cross city line and the allotments are a 10 minute walk away. Turn left out of the train station. At the cross roads turn right into The Boulevard. Continue walking until you come to some large green gates on the right hand side.
