You’re passionate about your business and it really is an idea that is going to rock the world. But you’re looking for funding and you have no idea about how to negotiate it successfully. The term-sheet is scary and complicated, the investors seem to have all the power, they have done it a million times and this is your first go. You really don’t want to sell your future for less than it’s worth.

It’s a common situation but good news is at hand. Simon Horton, author of Negotiation Mastery, and Alex Mahler, a highly experienced investor, will show you the nuts and bolts of how to make sure you get the deal you want.

And even if you are not currently looking for funding, this event is for you. The tools, tricks and techniques it will cover are applicable in any negotiation. No more under-selling your services, no more over-paying your suppliers, more successful negotiations with your business partners.

In the workshop, Simon and Alex will cover:

Before and after the workshop, there will be a chance to network and talk to the presenters and your fellow entrepreneurs.

Simon Horton is an expert in negotiation skills. He has taught hostage negotiators, some of the biggest law firms in the world, and purchasing departments for many Blue Chip companies. He is a Visiting Lecturer at Imperial College and a mentor on the Said Business School Emerge Lab accelerator programme. He has coached many businesses from start-up through to million-pound turnover and beyond. He is also the author of the Amazon best-seller Negotiation Mastery.

Alex Mahler has had a long and successful career working for major American and International Investment Banks. He is a senior investment professional arranging and providing growth capital for a variety of companies and industries. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and is a frequent guest lecturer at Stockholm University.
