Description
***LAST FEW PLACES REMAINING***
Do you work in a neighbourhood or locality team or are you an Elected Member involved in joining up services at the community level?
Do you want to hear more about the research we have been conducting - including our national survey - to build a picture of locality and neighbourhood working across England in 2018; where it being used, what models are in place, and what factors are likely to affect its future?
At our free one-day event at the Whitechapel Idea Store we will hear presentations of the research findings and hear examples of the resurgent role being played by neighbourhoods and locality teams in areas like reducing lonlieness, supporting well-being and employability, as well as streetscene, housing, and community safety.
It will be a day packed with thought provoking speakers, interactive workshops and space to network and reflect.
We already have delegates signed-up from across the country, some of whom will be presenting their own examples in short informal break-outs. Those already registered include Barnsley Council, Trafford Council, Oxford Council, City of Lincoln, LB Tower Hamlets, Sheffield Council, Birmingham, City of York, Queens Park Community Council, Affinity Sutton, Notting Hill Housing, Clarion Housing and Nottinghamshire Police.
It's also a chance to explore the brilliant Whitechapel Idea Store in London's bustling East End; part library, part lifelong learning centre, and focal point for dozens of face-to-face services.
Book early to ensure a place.
