Revolutionise your wardrobe with fashion designer Nelly Rose & jewellery designer Finchittida.
Two of London's most trailblazing designers are hosting an exclusive customisation workshop at the Ace Hotel London, in honour of Fashion Revolution Week 2017.
Fashion:
You will be guided through a number of exciting mini projects by Nelly Rose for embellishing your own clothing or upcycled clothes provided using:
- Textiles
- Typography
- Applique
- DIY Pattern Making
- Your imagination!
Jewellery & Accessories:
Tida (co-founder of fashion accessories label Finchittida) will be on hand for anyone interested in jewellery & customising accessories. So bring along your trinkets, chains, earrings, ribbons to customize or create your own unique jewels to accessorize your newly embellished fashion pieces!
You will be able to make / customise:
- rings
- necklace
- earrings
- bracelets
- chokers
- hairpieces
Important info:
We will be providing a few basic tools, chains, ring bases, earring hooks & jump rings. But please bring your own equipment, materials & anything you might want to use or customise e.g threads, fabrics, scissors, needles, fabric pens, sequins etc.
We have sourced recycled clothing from a waste warehouse especially for the workshop.
Please note that this event is for people aged 16+ for health and safety reasons.
Following this customisation workshop is a fashion illustration workshop. Giving you the opportunity to draw your customised clothes.

GLOBELLE Project:
By taking part in the workshop your work will be photographed for the GLOBELLE Project and Zine by Nelly Rose - recently launched at Women Of The World Festival.
About Fashion Revolution:
Fashion Revolution is a not-for-profit organisation working to connect everyone in the fashion supply chain. Launched in 2013 after the Rana Plaza Complex disaster is Dhaka, Bangladesh, the movement invites us to ask the important question "Who Made My Clothes?"
