Join one of our knowledgeable volunteers and explore our biggest Northamptonshire nature reserve, the Nene Wetlands. The walk may (weather permitting) include a visit to Wilson's Pits, a stunning area of lakes, meadows and reed beds which is usually inaccessible to the public to protect its sensitive wildlife inhabitants.
Binoculars will be available to borrow for the duration of the walk, which starts at our Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre at Rushden Lakes Retail Park (5 hours free parking is available at the retail park).
In order to keep everyone safe, please do not attend the walk if you feel at all unwell and, if you start to feel unwell during the walk, please let the walk leader know immediately.
Paths may be slippery and uneven in places so please ensure you wear suitable footwear and clothing. appropriate for the weather.
