Wednesday 29th of October is a Halloween Special!

This workshop delves into creativity, moving away from the perfectionist teachings of traditional life drawing. You'll experiment with various image-making techniques, from continuous line drawing to pointillism, and be encouraged to think outside the box to create something new.

As described in Time Out Magazine 'It might look like a Full Moon party, but this evening of sketching is an experiment in light, colour, and texture. The models become ‘living sculptures’ covered in UV lights and reactive body paints. Trippy.'

Neon Naked Life Drawing offers a unique experience, focusing on the creation of unusual and expressive designs through vibrant living sculptures. The fusion of UV light, reactive body paints, and hand-crafted flamboyant accessories nurtures a creative and immersive atmosphere.

In this class, you'll delve into the world of colour, light, and texture through a series of short poses ranging from 6 to 10 minutes. Various drawing styles will be explained in advance.

While art supplies are provided, feel free to bring your own essentials like pencils, paper, and drawing boards, as well as fluorescent neon pastels and highlighters to add vibrancy to your artwork.

No prior experience is necessary, and assistance is readily available for challenging poses. Expect a fun and friendly atmosphere with a relaxed vibe—ideal for a unique evening out, whether it's a date, hanging out with work friends, celebrating a birthday, or hosting a hen party.

All designs and accessories are meticulously crafted by Jylle Navarro, an experienced artist with a strong focus on UV reactive materials and a background in multi-disciplinary art spanning several years. Her expertise is reflected in the unique and captivating designs that contribute to the extraordinary Neon Naked experience.

Time Out says 'the sizeable Cat & Mutton sits proudly at the helm of Hackney's Broadway Market, and has been welcoming its costermongers and consumers for 300 years. Over the centuries it has evolved into an establishment of two kinds: downstairs is a traditional pub, serving ales and roasts to thirtysomething locals. And up a spiral staircase is Pearl's cocktail lounge: a crepuscular bar with creative drinks, heavily draped windows and panoramic views of the market below. Both floors have comfy mismatched furniture, retro mirrors and old ceiling features made of tin.'
