Want to boost your skills and confidence in open water? Whether you're a beginner looking to improve your skills or a seasoned swimmer aiming to enhance your technique, this training is perfect for all levels. Come ready to make a splash and push your limits in a fun and supportive environment with our expereinced coaches.

Session #1 will focus on Sighting, Pack Swimming and Deep Water Starts.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to wear a wet suit?

The choice is entirely yours. You will stay warmer in a wet suit whilst we teach various skills, but you are welcome to swim non-wet suit if you prefer, or wear a rash vest.

Do I need to bring a tow float?

If you have one, please bring one with you.

Do I need to be a fast swimmer?

No, you can be any speed and the group will be broken down into smaller groups so that you are swimming with people of the same ability / skill level.

Where can I can changed?

We will be getting changed on the beach (see location information above). Please bring a changing robe to respectfully get changed after your swim.

Will there be toilets?

There are public toilets further up the seafront by the Marina Office.

'Neptune Racing' is sister to 'Neptune Channel Swimming' both of which serve open water swimmers. Neptune Racing is aimed at Triathletes or Open Water Swimmers that are entering competitions and look to practice; Deep Water Starts, Pack Swimming, Drafting, Buoy Turns, Sighting, and Google Adjustment.
