NESEN Equality Training Seminars

The North East Scotland Equalities Network (NESEN) presents an Equalities Training Series. Each training session is delivered by an equality organisation working with communities in North East Scotland. Each session costs £20 (if cost is a barrier to attendance please contact Dave: firstname.lastname@example.org), lunch is provided, and booking is essential.
The sessions are for anyone who wants to gain a better understanding of equality issues and to find out more about local organisations and the services they deliver.
North East Sensory Services (NESS) Sensory Lunch. 12noon-2pm, March 1st 2017. NESS Aberdeen Office, 21 John Street, AB25 1BT.
Enjoy a “sensory lunch” while experiencing sight and/or hearing loss to get an insight into the physical, social and emotional impact of sensory loss. Find out more about the support that NESS provides to people of all ages living with a sight and/or hearing loss.
Grampian Regional Equality Council (GREC) Equality Training. 12noon-2pm, April 5th 2017. The Town House, Broad Street, Aberdeen.
GREC will provide training on the Equality Act, explain different forms of discrimination and discuss case studies.
Aberdeen Action on Disability (AAD). 12noon-2pm, May 3rd, 2017. The Town House, Broad Street, Aberdeen.
Aberdeen Action on Disability provide training on "A Person Centred Approach to Disability".
Grampian Women's Aid. 12noon-2pm, June 7th, 2017. The Town House, Broad Street, Aberdeen.
