Is it possible to attend only one (or only a few) session of the event?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately it is not possible. For the participants' best experience possible and for the success of the event, we kindly ask you to attend the entire conference.

Question 2

Will the conference be interactive?

Accepted Answer

Yes! It will be a discussion with student organisations and industry managers. Students and industry representatives will have several opportunities to interact individually and in small groups. An open networking moment will close the event to help built contact for future job search.

Question 3

What will be the conference platform?

Accepted Answer

The conference will take place in the EIIL virtual office 'EIIL Tardis' on gather.town, a proximity based video-calling platform. Activities will take place throughout the Tardis, ensuring a dynamic atmosphere and encouraging discussion between participants as they transfer between activity zones.

Question 4

For students - Will I have the chance to talk with industry managers 1 to 1?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There will be dedicated parts of the event when it will be possible to have 1 to 1 exchanges. However, it will be up to the participant's initiative to take on this opportunity and don't be afraid of approaching the industry ambassadors.

Question 5

Will the participants receive a certificate of completion?

Accepted Answer

All students who will attend the entire event will automatically receive a certificate of completion. Industry amabassadors can request a certificate of completion by writing an email to events@eiil.net.

Question 6

How to best prepare for the event?

Accepted Answer

Before the event, we suggest reading the joining instructions, which will be sent 1 week before the event. 
During the event, just don't be afraid to speak up and express your opinions! It is a safe environment.

Question 7

For students - Are there any questions which are off-limits?

Accepted Answer

No, the industry ambassadors will be there prepared to answer all of your questions and accept your challenges. They are looking forward to learn as much from you as you are from them. Don't be shy!
