About this event
Do you have questions about Netherton syndrome? Do you want to know more about it?
Join Mandy (UK) and Karin (NL), both adults with Netherton syndrome and one of the world's experts in the condition, Professor Alain Hovnanian (FR), all of whom are giving their time voluntarily. Presentation and discussion will be in English.
We are incredibly fortunate to be joined by Professor Hovnanian who qualified in Medicine in Paris, and then trained in Dermatology and in Genetics. From 1994 to 2000, he has headed a research group on inherited skin diseases at Oxford University. In 2000, he moved to Toulouse where he became full professor and headed an INSERM department (U563) on Functional Genetics of Epithelial diseases.
Alain Hovnanian’s research group has an international reputation in the field of medical genetics and among the patients. Professor Hovnanian is an author of numerous scientific articles which were published in the world’s most famous journals
Professor Hovnanian will explain more about what clinicians and researchers understand and know about Netherton syndrome, treatments and new research. There will be an opportunity to hear from you as well.
Do you have any questions? During the registration process please submit your questions.
We will be recording the session.
