Nettle Community Champ

Start this workshop with Julie Griffiths by making and tasting a number of dishes made from nettles. Working alongside Julie, you will make Nettle Champ and will taste:

• Nettle Bread,
• Nettle Pesto,
• Nettle Broth

• 10.30 Spud Peel and Boil
• 11.00 Shared champ recipes and stories
• 11.40 Mash up and takeaway.

In this participatory event we will share stories and recipes whilst helping prepare and create the traditional dish of nettle champ.

Myths and Legends of Lough Neagh with Jim Conway

The second part of the workshop will give you the chance to listen to the myths and legends of our famous Lough Neagh waters, told by local historian and storyteller Jim Conway.
