NetWalk Delamere began a long time before Forest Bathing became trendy or the pandemic forced many more meetings outside. When you have a beautiful destination like Delamere Forest on your doorstep, why wouldn't you get up from your desk and back outdoors as part of your work day?
We combine networking with a flat walk around the forest lake. CW8 2JD
10am - Meet inside the www.delamereforestcafe.com part of the new visitor centre.
10:15 - We begin our walk around the lake
Everyone has a '60 seconds' style opportunity to introduce themselves and their business to the whole group. At several stops along the way, we encourage you to partner up in mini 1-2-1 discussions whilst you walk.
11:30 to noon - We complete our circuit back at the visitor centre where you can grab yourself a coffee and lunch if you wish.
End - Finish times vary a little depending on the pace and number of attendees.
Cost - The group is run by volunteers. We keep it free to attend but you bring or buy your own refreshments and there is a fee to park unless you are a member of the Forestry Commission.
Clothing should be comfortable and weather appropriate. People tend to dress down but we also have walking boots teamed with suits on occasion. Whatever fits with your working day.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.
