Netwalking for Marketers: Ringing Roger 8km

Join House of Comms for a monthly netwalk to boost your mental and physical health, build your professional network, and meet like-minded marketers.

This guided walk will start from The Penny Pot Cafe, Edale. We'll head to the centre of the village to join the footpath up to The Nab, past Ringing Roger and onto Nether Tor. We'll skirt the edge of Kinder plateau overlooking Grindsbrook clough and summit Grindslow Knoll before joining the Pennine Way back into Edale.*

Start time and location: 09:45am outside The Penny Pot Cafe, Edale (S33 7ZA)

Distance: 8km

Duration: 3 hours

*This is an ideal scenario but the route will be amended based on the weather forecast and conditions on the day.

Edale is accessible via train from Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield. Parking is available at the station, or at the car park off Marys Lane (S33 7ZQ) for those wishing to drive. You will also find public toilets here.

Please dress appropriately in walking boots and layers. We recommend packing a waterproof regardless of the weather forecast. You will need to carry your own water and snacks. We won't stop for lunch but there are pubs and cafes in Edale to enjoy afterwards.

You do not need walking experience to enjoy this route but if you have any concerns please get in touch!
