Netwalking for Marketers with House of Comms
Overview
Join House of Comms for a monthly netwalk to connect, create, and collaborate!
This guided walk will start from The Penny Pot Cafe, Edale. We'll head to the centre of the village to join the Pennine Way, walking through Upper Booth and up Jacob's Ladder to Kinder Low. We'll then head east to Grindslow Knoll before descending back to Edale.*
*This is an ideal scenario but the route will be amended based on the weather conditions and forecast.
Start time: 09:45am for 10:00am start (allowing for train arrivals)
Location: Meet outside The Penny Pot Cafe, Edale (S33 7ZA)
Distance: 12km
Duration: 4 hours
Edale is accessible via train from Manchester Piccadilly, Sheffield, and Leeds. Parking is available at the station, or at the car park off Marys Lane (S33 7ZQ) for those wishing to drive. You will also find public toilets here.
Please dress appropriately in walking boots and layers. Hat, gloves and buff or scarf will probably be needed in December. We recommend carrying a waterproof and an extra layer just in case. You will need to carry your own water and snacks or packed lunch. If the weather is good, we'll stop to eat along the way, otherwise there are pubs and cafes in Edale to enjoy afterwards.
You do not need walking experience to enjoy this route but if you have any concerns please get in touch!
