Netwalking for Women in Business

This space was created for female entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and grow through a relaxed monthly Netwalking group. Combining the benefits of fresh air, meaningful conversations, and genuine community support, these Netwalks offer an environment where women in business can thrive together.

Each session begins with a gentle 30-minute walk through the stunning Crickley Hill Country Park in Birdlip, Gloucester. Surrounded by nature, you’ll have the chance to chat informally, sharing stories and ideas without the usual pressure of traditional networking events. After the walk, we gather at the café, where over coffee and cake, we dive into brainstorming business challenges, exchanging ideas, and supporting one another.

What makes these Netwalks so special is the connection and trust they create. As solo business owners, we understand the unique ups and downs of running a business. This is a safe and supportive space to share openly, spark new ideas, and leave feeling more confident and inspired.

Held on the first Wednesday of each month from 10:00am to 12:00 noon, these gatherings are about so much more than business growth—they’re about finding your tribe. A group of like-minded women who genuinely want the best for each other. Whether it’s sharing contacts, offering referrals, brainstorming, or simply being a sounding board, these Netwalks celebrate the power of women supporting women.

With a small group of up to 12 attendees, there’s plenty of space for meaningful conversations and collaboration. It’s a chance to step away from your desk, recharge, and enjoy a few hours dedicated to connection, creativity, and growth.

If you’re looking for a relaxed, welcoming space to connect with other women in business, these Netwalks are the perfect combination of movement, conversation, and collaboration.

Event Details:

WHAT: A short walk with informal networking, followed by collaborative brainstorming.

WHEN: Monthly, usually the first Wednesday, 10:00am - 12:00 noon. We meet outside the cafe at 10am. I will introduce everyone so you don't need to worry about those awkward pitches!

WHERE: Crickley Hill Country Park, Birdlip, Gloucester (meeting point: café).

FORMAT: 30-minute walk followed by a business brainstorming session at the café.

PARKING: All day parking is available for £2.

NOTE: This is a countryside walk so there is a chance you might get muddy! Please wear appropriate shoes. If it's raining, bring wellies and a raincoat!

Who am I? I'm Emma, a personal branding photographer and film-maker for female business owners, and I'm based in Cheltenham, in the Cotswolds. I often find traditional networking a bit icky and uncomfortable and so I wanted to create my own way to combine getting outside (great for mental health and exercise) while talking with like-minded women.

I also wanted to create a safe place to help each other grow our businesses. We do this through brainstorming our challenges and drawing on support from each other - there is usually someone in the group who's been where you are and has experience to share!

I love to work with passionate, ambitious women to help them grow their business, and I love connecting the women that I work with. So why not combine the two!

Terms and Conditions for Netwalking Sessions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your participation in the netwalking sessions organised by Emma Jackson Photogaphy. . By registering for and participating in these sessions, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open to women who own and run their own businesses. By registering, you confirm that you meet this criterion.

3. Registration and Payment

• Registration Process: To participate, you must book online via Eventbrite and along with the full payment for the session.
• Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.

4. No Refund Policy

• All payments are non-refundable. Once a payment is made, it cannot be refunded under any circumstances, including but not limited to inability to attend the session or dissatisfaction with the experience.

5. Rescheduling and Cancellations

• Rescheduling by Us: I reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather or other emergencies. In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible and given the option to attend a rescheduled session or receive a credit towards a future session.
• Cancellations by You: If you are unable to attend a session you registered for, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance. While refunds are not available, I may offer you a credit towards a future session at my discretion.

6. Code of Conduct

• Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards others during the sessions.
• Any form of harassment or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the session without a refund.

7. Health and Safety

• You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically fit to participate in the netwalking sessions. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, please consult with a healthcare professional before joining.
• I am not liable for any injuries or health issues that may arise during the sessions.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

• I respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected during registration will be used solely for the purpose of organising and managing the sessions.
• Participants are encouraged to respect the confidentiality of any business-related information shared by others during the sessions.

9. Photography and Media

• I may take photographs or videos during the sessions for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to being photographed or recorded and for these images to be used by me in marketing materials.

10. Limitation of Liability

• I am not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by participants during the netwalking sessions, except where such loss, damage, or injury is caused by our negligence.

11. Amendments to Terms

• I reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants and will take effect immediately upon such notification.
