Explore, Connect, and Learn on Dartmoor
Join fellow CIMA members and guests for a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature and each other on a guided walk across Dartmoor National Park.
We'll set off from the breathtaking Haytor, where (on a clear day!) you can enjoy panoramic 360° views across the moor. From there, we’ll follow a stretch of the historic granite tramway, passing through quarries and buildings reclaimed by nature, before reaching the evocative remains of a Bronze Age settlement near Smallacombe Rocks. Our circular route promises sightings of stunning flora and fauna—and, if we're lucky, a glimpse of the famous semi-wild Dartmoor pony herds. You’ll also hear two captivating local legends along the way!
