About this event

We started this group as we wanted to create a community for women who have, or would like to have their own creative or wellbeing business. Our aim is to provide you with a relaxed, inspiring and helpful place in which you can connect with others who are on similar journeys; a place in which you can offer mutual support, share knowledge and enjoy delving into the challenges and rewards that come with building a business.

Our community is here to support you; to help you to make new connections, friends and potentially people to collaborate with. It is designed to be a circle of support for you in both your professional and personal life. We wanted to create something special which would help you to feel, and be, at your best, as you build your business and juggle the demands that life and work bring, in a way which feels nurturing, stimulating and fun.

We work with women who recognise that taking care of their own wellbeing is essential if they are to maintain their sense of wellbeing as they build their business. We are committed to creating a truly supportive, engaged and enjoyable community which offers us the space to be individuals and explore how best to take care of ourselves, share ideas, knowledge and support one another.

We recognise the vital role that nature plays, in offering a supportive environment which will stimulate and calm our brain, helping us to think more clearly and feel better in so many ways.

And so we invite you to join us to find some inspiration, have some fun, and participate in what is already proving to be a positive environment for our own wellbeing and for our businesses.

Walking together is a lovely way to connect and outdoor settings are a brilliant way to encourage natural conversations. We will walk at a comfortable pace for everyone. We'll occasionally pause and give you the opportunity to naturally mix and speak to others in the group, relax and enjoy your surroundings. There won't be any formal elevator pitches-just relaxed discussions, where you will have plenty of opportunity to share your business with others, and learn about theirs.

Our walks are designed to be an enriching and enjoyable experience for alll.

Stratford Park is set in the heart of a beautiful award winning park. It includes some 56 acres and plenty to explore, it is a great destination for everyone!

The wider parkland has large grassy lawns, two children’s play areas, a lake, miniature railway, woodland and an arboretum. Stratford Park is home to a fantastic arboretum, which is free to explore. Its origins go back to the mid 1800C when Stratford House, now the Museum in the Park, was owned by the Watts family - Joseph Watts, a Stroud brewer from 1819 until 1855 and his grandson Joseph Watts Hallewell from 1855 until 1891.

We will walk whenever we can but in the event that we decide to switch to an online session we will email you the evening before, with a zoom link for you to join us there so you can grab a drink, get comfortable and still connect with everyone!

Please also note that these walks are restricted to adults only; no children or dogs permitted.

Some of the areas we walk in are paved, but in parts may not be, so could be a little muddy, uneven and slippery at times so please remember to wear appropriate footwear, and to bring a waterproof, hat, umbrella or whatever else you may need for the walk.
