Frequently asked questions

Where can I park?

There is a Pay and Display carpark on Nelson Street, directly opposite our building.

How can we travel by public transport?

We are directly beside Bradford Interchange and buses come into the city centre from all across the district. Bradford Forster Square station is a 10 minute walk.

Who is the event aimed at?

Anyone working within recruitment or looking to better understand employees with learning disabilities! We work with young people to train them how to be within a workplace environment (including work experience placements) and the end goal is for them to secure sustainable paid work.

Is there an expectation to work together in the future?

As much as we would love to connect with more employers across the district, there is never any pressure or expectations from us. If you leave the event with work connections and/or more knowledge around disabilities than you had before - that's enough for us.

Is your venue accessible?

There is a lift to our floor and the office is all on one level. We have a wheelchair accessible toilet. If you have any further requirements to support your attendance, please let us know so we can accommodate you.

Organised by

We will deliver a number of Inclusive Employer events that will tackle and address various barriers that employers and employees face when finding paid work. We want to work with employers to help make their work offers accessible and inclusive, and to break down misconceptions when it comes to disabilities.

These events will be held during the curricular year from September to June.
